Why I Love Biotrust Protein Cookies as my Favorite Snack…
My Experience with Biotrust Protein Cookies & Story as to Why I Started Eating These as a Snack
I started struggling with my weight a while ago, even though I’m only 29. The problem started when I was working as an accountant, sitting in an office all day and always grabbing whatever I could to eat, as I was always on the go. I would typically eat whatever I could as I had so much work to do.
Can you relate to this situation?
But then I was introduced to BioTrust Protein Cookies. By using 2 BioTrust Protein Cookies as a full meal replacement, or 1 cookie as a fat-burning snack, I’ve already noticed an incredible difference and my cravings to eat junk food went away!
The other good thing is that each large cookie is individually wrapped, so they’re ultra-convenient and portable on top of being extraordinarily delicious and healthy, which means they are really handy to take to work or wherever you are going.
My favorite is the chocolate chip version! They are awesome!
I know you’re probably a bit skeptical, as I was when I first discovered this, but now I’ve tried it I’m so pleased I persevered, and besides – they’re delicious! Let me give you a description of the contents and how they work.

How Biotrust Protein Cookies Work
First, let’s talk about the basics. You probably know that our bodies need sufficient protein each day to maintain health and fitness because protein increases our calorie-burning metabolism and it also helps to build (and repair) an attractive, lean body. If you’re active, or if you’re trying to lose weight, and you’re not achieving the kind of results you expected, then most likely you aren’t getting enough protein in your daily diet. Perhaps even worse, a protein deficiency could destroy your results and leave your body deprived and constantly craving more food.
One of the problems I found was finding a truly healthy protein source that was both convenient and appetizing in today’s fast-paced world where many of us don’t have time to cook properly or sit down for proper meals. When I looked at various protein bars and ready-to-drink protein shakes, I found them full of denatured proteins, unhealthy preservatives, trans fats, artificial flavors, colors and sweeteners that only expanded my waistline and damaged my health—the exact opposite of what I was trying to achieve!
So, how do BioTrust Protein Cookies work?
Well, each cookie contains 12 grams of equal-part blend of the highest quality fast and slow acting protein, including Micellar Casein, the king of all protein sources. 12 grams of protein per cookie is more than you will find even in a double extra-large hard-boiled egg or even a tall glass of milk. Micellar Casein is derived from the Latin caseus, meaning cheese, and refers to a group of phosphor-proteins that are found in mammalian milk.
Micellar casein is a slow release protein source, low in carbohydrate and fat, which also contains bioactive micro-fractions, trace compounds that are important growth factors, which studies have linked to a strengthening of the immune system.
Micellar casein breaks down to form high quality branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) that are ideal for muscle tissue recovery and have an anti-catabolic effect. The protein source is relatively hydrophobic, meaning that it does not mix well with water, forming a suspension in milk. This insolubility increases when it is combined with acidic liquids, such as stomach acid, and it is this quality that results in its slow absorption, forming a gel that is gradually digested over a 7-8 hour period.
Furthermore, the protein in BioTrust Protein Cookies is sourced from cows not treated with the synthetic growth hormones rBGH and rBST. I certainly want to avoid putting unnatural hormones into my body whenever possible. A really important point for me is that Protein Cookies are certified hormone and antibiotic free and made from all natural ingredients. They are also non-GMO sourced and contain ZERO wheat, trans fats or gluten. Incredible; a delicious and healthy gluten-free cookie!
They also contain 6 grams of fiber in each Cookie, which means you won’t find any trans fats, artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners in these scrumptious cookies… ever. Instead, they are sweetened naturally with stevia extract and a naturally sweet form of fiber call inulin.
So, just to summarize why I am so excited about BioTrust Protein Cookies as a way of eating a delicious snack and at the same time burning calories:
- They taste incredible. They are absolutely delicious, just like mom’s oven-baked cookies, but instead of fattening, they’re extremely good for you and your waistline.
- Each cookie contains 12 grams of fat-fighting, time-released quality protein
- The proteins are certified hormone free, sourced from cows not treated with dangerous growth hormones like rBGH and rBST (not the case for 99% of all other protein products).
- Each cookie contains 6 grams of premium fiber to support healthy digestion and lower blood sugar.
- BioTrust Protein Cookies are free of artificial sweeteners, colors, and flavors.
- They’re also gluten-free and GMO-free
What Are These Cookies Made Out of?
BioTrust Protein Cookies come in two outrageously delicious flavors: Frosted Oatmeal Raisin and Chewy Chocolate Chip and each box of BioTrust Protein Cookies contains 12 large, individually wrapped high-protein cookies.
I used Protein Cookies by sometimes eating 2 as a full meal replacement, or 1 cookie as a fat-burning snack. This product doesn’t contain any caffeine or any other stimulants and like every BioTrust product, BioTrust Protein Cookies are made with all natural ingredients. The cookie recipes do not include any ingredients from gluten, wheat, fish, crustacean shellfish, or peanuts. They are non-GMO and contain NO artificial sweeteners, flavors, or colors. What’s more, independent laboratory testing is used to ensure the potency and purity of all products. If you have any concerns you should consult your physicians before taking any supplement.
Oatmeal Raisin CONTAINS: Milk, egg and soy (lecithin).
1 cookie weighs 46g and contains 150 calories, of which 40 are from fat. Total fat is 4.5g, of which 2.5g is saturated fat and trans fat is 0g. Cholesterol is 25mg, Sodium 120mg and total carbohydrates are 20g, of which dietary fiber is 6g and sugars 6g. Protein total is 12g. The cookies also contain vitamins A (2%), Calcium (15%) and Iron (6%).
Chewy Chocolate Chip CONTAINS: Milk, egg, tree nut (coconut) and soy (lecithin).
1 cookie weighs 46g and contains 150 calories, of which 60 are from fat. Total fat is 7g, of which 4g is saturated fat and trans fat is 0g. Cholesterol is 25mg, Sodium 60mg and total carbohydrates are 16g, of which dietary fiber is 5g and sugars 6g. Protein total is 12g. The cookies also contain vitamins A (4%), Calcium (20%) and Iron (2%).
I have continued to take this product after I reached my weight goal because BioTrust Protein Cookies are a healthy, nutritious snack that can be used as part of either a weight loss plan or a weight maintenance plan.

Why These Protein Cookies Work
Just going back to the point I made earlier about BioTrust Protein Cookies not containing artificial preservatives and additives, unfortunately with most similar products on the market, this really isn’t the case. While promoted as “healthy,” these other fat loss–and health-derailing nightmares are full of simple sugars, damaged and denatured fats, dirt-cheap and unhealthy protein, and a slew of artificial colors, sweeteners, and preservatives.
Just take a look at the labels on these supposed “health products” and you’ll likely see scary ingredients like fractionated palm kernel oil, high oleic safflower oil, corn syrup, corn starch, high fructose corn syrup, sugar, brown sugar, fructose, maltodextrin and dextrose (carbohydrates whose glycemic index is even higher than sugar!), canola oil, partially hydrogenated oils (also known as trans fats), sucralose and aspartame (which are chemical, artificial sweeteners), and the list goes on and on.
In reality, these “obesity additives” are some of the worst things you can put in your body if your goal is to achieve a flat belly and improve your health. Not only can they wreak havoc on your blood sugar, hormones, and cardiovascular risk factors, but they can outright STOP fat loss dead in its tracks, leaving you wondering why, despite all your efforts to eat healthy, your body fat stores just won’t seem to budge.
This is the first reason that BioTrust Protein Cookies work – they don’t cause the adverse effects that most other products cause by using cheap ingredients.
Another scam is where manufacturers remove sugar alcohols like maltitol and glycerol from the carb count to make their bars appear low-carb or carb-friendly. What these unethical companies don’t tell you, however, is that the glycemic index of maltitol is right up there with table sugar and the caloric value of glycerol (also known as glycerine) is even higher than sugar!
Knowing this, you may be wondering why a so-called “nutrition” company would ever resort to putting these types of ingredients in their bars, and the answer is simple: These cheap ingredients drive up their profits at the expense of your health, your waistline, and your results!
This brings us to another very important point to consider when choosing a protein bar: protein quality.
The #1 protein source used in protein bars is soy protein, one of the cheapest protein sources in the world. Do you think that’s a coincidence? No, it’s not. Unfortunately, soy protein contains phytoestrogens that act like estrogen in the body and have been linked to numerous health problems, including decreased thyroid output in women1,2,3 and decreased testosterone levels in men.4,5,6,7
This is really bad news because less thyroid hormone means less calorie burning and more fat storage for you.
Beyond that, gelatin and collagen (made from ground-up cow hooves) have worked their way in to the protein blends of some of the most popular protein bars—some as the primary protein source! While technically a protein, gelatin lacks the full spectrum of essential amino acids and is an even lower quality source of protein than soy. And who wants to eat ground-up cow hooves anyway?
Well, thankfully, the people at BioTrust recognized this glaring need for a high-quality, great-tasting, convenient Protein Cookie not riddled with the shortcomings of other similar products on the market, and that’s exactly why, BioTrust Protein Cookies are based on 12 grams of equal-part blend of the highest quality fast and slow acting protein, including Micellar Casein, the king of all protein sources.
