Organifi Biotic Balance Review & Amazing Health Benefits

April 21, 2022 Reviews 0

Hey There – thanks for taking the time to check out my Organifi Biotic Balance Review.

I normally take all these claims you see on the internet about weight loss and magic potions with a big pinch of salt (not literally of course as that wouldn’t be a good idea), but something about Biotic Balance caught my eye and once I’d read the information, I was convinced I should give it a try.

I even take this myself.  Check out the video I made for you where I give away some of my best tips on health and digestion.

So What’s All The Buzz Lately About Organifi’s Biotic Balance?  Watch The Video to Find Out

I’ve seen so many people struggling with weight gain and overall health problems that I wanted to investigate how this product could help others as I know the brand is amazing.

I love to work out and eat clean but the problem is I spend so much time at a desk rather than my previous more active lifestyle, plus I started experiencing digestive problems that were making life a little uncomfortable.

Well, I tried Biotic Balance and the results were so good that I wanted to share this with you.

My Favorite Part About Taking Organifi’s Biotic Balance

biotic-balance-probiotic-reviews

It only takes 1 capsule a day.  That is right.  I used to work at a supplement store and I would see people come in for probiotics and they would take up to 10 plus pills a day.

Talk about having a part time job. LOL.

The amount of work it takes to carry pills with you and remembering to take them daily throughout the day can be a chore.

I like how I only take one a day.

My Biotic Balance Review: Quality Over Quantity

I am real picky about what I put in my body.  Like I said, I used to work at a supplement store and have tried many different products.

These are just SOME of the reasons I love Biotic Balance:

  • GMO Free
  • Gluten Free
  • Vegan Friendly
  • 100% All Natural
  • I’m sure you’ve been there!

Here’s why I Love Organifi’s Biotic Balance – it’s actually good for you!!

You know the feeling, work’s a bit boring or you’re sitting at home watching the TV, or you stop in town for a coffee. You’re not really hungry but something is telling you to go to the fridge or order your favorite snack.

Cravings – the feeling that you’ve just got to have something, for no other reason than your gut is telling you. Any amount of willpower or strength will find it difficult to resist, but it’s not just down to being strong and having willpower.

There is of course a scientific reason for cravings which means there is also a way of overcoming them naturally, without torturing yourself or even having to think about it.

This has been a problem for myself as well as many others since I work from home or at an office.

You know how it goes.  I’m sitting near the kitchen, it’s all too tempting to raid the fridge or the cookie jar. That’s why I was so interested in Biotic Balance, so, I tried it and am writing this review to pass on what I learnt and how I benefitted from this amazing product.

The principle behind Organifi Biotic Balance is based on well-known and proven science; your gut, your intestines contain trillions of bacteria, known to scientists as the microbiome.

This microbiome contains good bacteria and some not very good bacteria, but all these bacteria live in a symbiotic relationship with you and they are all required to help your body function. They help your digestive system break down the food you eat and extract the nutrients which keep you alive.(1)(2)(3)

As strange as it may sound, science tells us that by DNA standards, actually only 10% of “your” DNA is actually “you.”(4) The rest is made up of other strains of bacteria in your system.

The key to our body’s functioning and staying healthy is keeping a natural balance that’s maintained between all the different organisms.

This is all fine until something disturbs that natural balance, and there could be lots of reasons for this, either poor diet, illness, toxicity or even stress and poor sleeping habits can all upset the natural balance of your body.

These days, a major cause of imbalance is antibiotics.(5) A 7 or 10 day course of antibiotics may well cure your cold or flu, but in the process it can also completely wipe out your microbiome bacteria as well, good and bad.(6)

So, the point here is that, unless you specifically take action to restore the balance in your gut, things can become a little chaotic with certain bacteria dominating your digestive system and specifically your intestine.(7)

Due to the very close relationship between you and your microbiome, your gut can literally instruct your brain to put thoughts into your head about what it would like, not necessarily need, to eat.

These are the cravings that Biotic Balance can help eradicate by reinstating and maintaining the natural balance in your gut.

So, we have established, and it’s a scientific fact, that everybody has bad bacteria in their gut as part of their microbiome.

The problem is when the bad bacteria take over due to an imbalance, which can be caused by a number of factors, that’s what causes the cravings.(8)

For most of us, cravings normally include sugar and/or carbs, which, unfortunately are the same things that cause us to pile on the weight, as well as other symptoms such as bad breath, body odour and skin issues, not to mention diabetes and arthritis.

The problem is that the bad bacteria thrive on these bad foods, which means they multiply and start to outnumber the good bacteria, whose job it is to provide your body with good things such as vitamins. (9)(10)

There Are a Few Ways to Help Restore and Maintain Our Body’s Natural Balance, and These Are…

  • #1: Stop Juicing High-Fructose Vegetables and Fruits
    • Certain fruits like oranges, carrots, apples or bananas or anything with high amounts of fructose because the bad bacteria thrive on fructose. Juice from berries and lemons is OK because they are low in sugar.
  • #2: Eat Pre-Biotic & Probiotic Foods
    • The next thing is to eat all sorts of foods that are high in either prebiotic foods or probiotic foods. The difference is that Prebiotics act as food for probiotics. In other words, probiotics eat prebiotics.

Keep these 3 things in mind about PreBiotics:

  1. Prebiotics are a type of un-digestible plant fiber that already live inside the large intestine. The more food, or prebiotics, probiotics have to eat, the more efficiently these live bacteria work and the healthier your gut will be.
  2. Prebiotics naturally exist in many foods you may already consume on a regular basis(11) and since fiber is the source for prebiotics, foods that are high in fiber are also typically high in prebiotics.
  3. Prebiotic foods include beans and cruciferous vegetables such as garlic, onions, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, collard greens, kale, radish and rutabaga. Incorporating these into your diet is good practice anyway and over time, you’ll start to notice a huge difference just by giving the good bacteria the foods they need to grow and multiply.

For a quicker, more immediate result, start eating foods loaded with probiotics; foods actually containing the good bacteria you want. (12)

Russian Nobel Prize winner, microbiologist and scientific genius Elie Metchnikoff, Ph.D studied the habits of the remarkable Bulgarians, who, in the early 1900s, lived on average for 87 years at a time, sometimes 100, when the average life span was mid-forties. Metchnikoff discovered that Bulgarian peasants consumed large amounts of a fermented, tangy dairy drink they simply called “sour milk”. Today’s equivalents would be drinkable yogurt and kefir found in health food stores and high-end grocery stores.

Metchnikoff discovered that the sour milk contained the bacterium Lactobacillus Bulgaricus; the “good” bacteria that balanced the Bulgarians digestive systems.  Now let’s discuss some foods you can eat to aid in digestion.

The Following Three Foods are Rich in Probiotics:

  1. Probiotic Food #1: Yogurt
    1. Most of us know that yogurt is loaded with good bacteria, in fact there are tens of billions of bacteria per serving.(13) When making yogurt, producers add cultures of bacteria after milk has been pasteurized, to ensure the bacteria survives. Recommended is the National Yogurt Association’s “Live & Active Cultures” seal, which certifies the product contains at least 100 million cultures per gram, or 20 billion per eight-ounce serving.
  2. Probiotic Food #2: Kefir
    1. An even better source of probiotics than yogurt, is a milky beverage from Russia and Turkey, called kefir which is made by fermenting goat, cow or sheep’s milk with something called kefir “grains”. This drink usually contains 10 to as much as 20 different strains of bacteria.(14)  Using kefir instead of milk smoothies adds a lovely tanginess.
  3. Probiotic Food #3: Kimchi
    1. Yup – you heard me right! This delicious spicy and sour traditional Korean side dish is made by fermenting cabbage, cucumber or radish and since it’s mostly pickled vegetables, kimchi is a great low-calorie source of fiber.

Other Foods & Drinks to Consider

There are other foods and drinks as well. Kombucha, sour pickles, German sauerkraut, miso soup, natto, tempeh, lots of different cultures and ethnicities have fermented foods and dishes that can replenish the good bacteria and they’re all worth including as part of your balanced diet.

Now, the reason I have included all this information is partly because it’s useful, but also partly because it helps explain how Biotic Balance works.

The key is to restoring the balance in your intestinal gut flora, so the bad bacteria doesn’t take over and cause cravings. (15) Researchers have found it’s best to have a properly balanced ratio of 85% ‘good’ bacteria to 15% ‘bad’ gut bacteria to maintain a healthy balance.

Now, personally I’m not a huge fan of Kefir or Kimchi, so fitting those into my daily diet wouldn’t be easy or enjoyable, which is why I was so pleased to find out about Biotic Balance which contains 50 billion of the colony forming, good bacteria in just one daily capsule, which is an extremely healthy amount compared to other products out there.(16)

I realize not everyone can eat these foods which is why I made this Organifi Biotic Balance Review.

Biotic Balance is based on a formula of 10 bacteria which are scientifically proven to address specific issues and maintain a healthy balance in your gut:

  • Super Probiotic #1 – Bacterium Lactis – boosts immunity, attacks tumors, aids digestion and can decrease cholesterol (17)
  • Super Probiotic #2 – Bacterium Longum – helps you absorb precious nutrients by breaking down grains, legumes and cruciferous vegetables (3 common causes of digestive issues) (18)
  • Super Probiotic #3 – Lactobacillus casei – lowers the pH of your body by producing lactic acid. Also halts the growth of harmful bacteria and helps reduce inflammation (19)
  • Super Probiotic #4 – Lactobacillus paracasei – relieves symptoms of chronic fatigue. Often used to tear pollen allergies (20)
  • Super Probiotic #5 – Lactobacillus saliverius – prevents intestinal infections and even tooth decay. Also produces an acid to kill harmful bacteria (21)
  • Super Probiotic #6 – Lactobacillus bulgaricus – stimulates the growth of other healthy probiotics
  • Super Probiotic #7 – Lactobacillus rhamnosus – boosts metabolism and aids in the fat-burning process (22)
  • Super Probiotic #8 – Lactobacillus plantarum – stops nasty bacteria from populating by creating a boundary in your colon. Reduces infections and multiple common illnesses. (23)
  • Super Probiotic #9 – Lactobacillus acidophilus – Crucial in the digestion of dairy products.  Also creates vitamin K which prevents blood clots and aids in bone formation. (24)
  • Super Probiotic #10 – Bacterium breve – breaks down sugars in the digestive tract, reducing indigestion and stomach pain. (25)

All I can say is, having used Biotic Balance, I have noticed less cravings for snacks during the day, reduced bloating which I assume is down to my digestive system working much more efficiently, a gradual weight loss and an overall improved feeling of well being which I honestly didn’t expect to happen so easily and effortlessly.

Now that you’ve read my Organifi Biotic Balance Review I can honestly recommend this product for those of you who need help in resisting those cravings, and those of you who would just like to keep your gut in good working order and balance, which let’s face it, should be everybody!
